VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) William I. (Roy) Little, 67, of Punta Gorda, Fla., a former Veedersburg resident, died at noon Thursday (Jan. 2, 1969) at Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient since Dec. 30. Mr. Little became ill while visiting his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Parham at Veedersburg during the holidays. He was born Oct. 4, 1901 at Stone Bluff, the son of William and Lorrie Noggle Little. He was married June 12, 1923 to Lillian Miller McDermond. While a resident of Veedersburg, Mr. Little was employed by the State Highway Department. He had resided in Florida since his retirement. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. John (Ruth) McCawley of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Arthur (Eleanor) Parham of Veedersburg; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Myers, Mrs. Flossie VanParker, and Mrs. Hezel Frankbiener, all of Miami, Fla.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg with the Rev. Edith Bruner officiating. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 tonight.  --typed by Walt W

Veedersburg - William L. "Roy" Little, 67, formerly of Veedersburg, died at noon Thursday at Lakeview Memorial Hospital at Danville, Illinois, where he had been a patient four days. A resident of Punta Gorda, Fla he was visiting a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Parham of Veedersburg, when he became ill and required hospitalization. Born at Stone Bluff Oct 4, 1901, he was a son of William and Lorie Noggle Little. He was married to Lillian Miller McDermond on June 12, 1923. A former employee of the state highway department, he moved from Veedersburg to Florida following retirement. A brother preceded him in death. Surviving besides Mrs. Parham are the widow; another daughter, Mrs. John (Ruth) McCawley of Washington, DC; 3 grandchildren; a great grandchild and 3 sisters, Mrs. Lucille Myers, Mrs. Flossie Van Parker and Mrs. Hazel Frankenbarger of Miami, Fla. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday here at Parham Funeral Home with Rev. Edith Bruner officiating. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. Friends may pay respects at the funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight. - kbz
